Project Description
Yochai Greenfeld is a friendly triple threat (actor, dancer and singer). He started acting in his teens as part of the Encounter Theater Group and the JEST Musical Theater Company, played lead roles in two Israeli-based movies, and trained as singer and cantor (Bel-Canto). He competed with the Maccabi Gymnastics Team of Israel for five years, before starting his training as a dancer with the Mehola Dance Company in Jerusalem.
After a seven year break comprised of Judaic Studies at the Maale Gilboa Yeshivah and five years of military service as an Intelligence Officer, he reignited his dancing career and started a BFA at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He has since danced with the JAMD and Ka’et Ensembles, and the Fresco Dance Company.
His recent credits include the Cameri Theater’s West Side Story (Big-Deal), the Porat Theater’s Mulan (Hun, Mulan’s Mother), The Jewish-Hit-Web-Series “Soon By You” (Michael), as well as guest performances with New York based choreographers such as Roy Assaf, Troy Oglivie and Kirsten Brook Sandler.
