Project Description
Micha Gilad is an Israeli pianist, keyboard player, musical director arranger and composer based in Brooklyn, NY.
Micha received his bachelor’s degree from the NewSchool for Jazz and Contemporary music, as a part of the prestigious collaboration program between the Newschool and the Israeli Conservatory.
While being deeply rooted in Jazz and Classical music and leading his own solo project and jazz trio, Micha is also the leader of the pioneer electronic trio Doctor B.
Micha had collaborated with many highly acclaimed musicians and acts such as Robert Sadin (Grammy award recipient), La’Nar Kern Brantley (Grammy award recipient), Nicole Zuraitis (Grammy nominated), Thana Alexa (Grammy nominated), Tali Rubinstein (latin Grammy award recipient), Lola Marsh, Noga Erez, Yoni Bloch, and many more.
As a media composer Micha have created and directed music for the UN, Walmart, and different short films, animation and dance projects.
Micha acts as a pianist and musical director for the leading NYC cultural and educational program the National Dance Institute.
Micha have performed in many music festival and major venues in the US and around the world.
