Klezmer Virtuoso Clarinetist Avigail Malachi along with Cellist Elad Kabilio will share the stories behind Klezmer music in a musical journey from the shtetl in east-europe to the big apple.

This livestream performance will pair works from Yeshiva University Museum’s exhibition, From A(gam) to Z(aritsky): Highlights of Israeli Art from Yeshiva University Museum’s Collection with music ranging from Klezmer to classical, from piyyut and poetry to Israeli pop. Elad, on cello, will be joined by virtuoso clarinetist and singer, Avigail Malachi. Together they will share fascinating stories and historical context behind the music.

In the high-energy session, Israeli-Yemenite singer Ariella Edvy along with the host Elad Kabilio, will pay tribute to the role of contemporary musicians in Israel, featuring iconic songs along with traditional Yemenite music.

Travel back in time and space to experience the vast Jewish cultures through an intimate look at the stories behind the structures that were the center of Jewish life. Listen to musical performances authentic to each era and civilization and watch the unique architectural features and artistic design unfold in a multimedia presentation.

Live music meets dance in this special kids jam featuring award-winning contemporary dance company Ariel Rivka Dance and cellist Elad Kabilio. Together we will have Wiggily Warm-up, Interactive games, Calming Yoga, and we will learn choreography with two dancers!

Start your day with our interactive show featuring beloved cello music by Bach. In this 30 min musical story-time experience we will sing, dance, jump and laugh!

Join MusicTalks’ Elad Kabilio and Avigail Malachi for an interactive concert for all ages featuring a verity of musical instruments such as Cello, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet and much more. Shel Silverstein’s timeless thought-provoking children’s book, reimagined and set to the beloved music of Tchaikovsky. From Swan Lake to The Nutcracker to Sleeping Beauty, these classics will be performed by a clarinet and cello duo, in a collaboration of the most expressive of wooden instruments. Along with the duo, actor Ron Orlovsky will bring the tale to life through movement, creating an exciting story-time experience!
